Minister for Care and Mental Health, Gillian Keegan has issued a letter outlining the recent changes to Covid guidance for adult social care providers.
A number of new and revised guidance documents were issued yesterday, most of which will apply from the 4th April 2022 unless otherwise stated.
DHSC have issued a useful Summary of changes to COVID-19 guidance for adult social care providers which highlights the new guidance changes compared to the previous guidance.
The detail of the new guidance is covered across the following areas;
Infection Control Fund
As far as we are aware the Infection Control Fund has not been extended and no further funding for providers is planned to replace it.

National Data Opt-Out Date Extented to 31 July 2022
This was expected to come into play from the 31st March 2022 and it has now been extended to 31 July 2022. All previous details remain correct. More information is available on the Digital Social Care website.
