Cornwall Partners in Care Forums
Regular Forum meetings for the Social Care sector in Cornwall
Purpose of the Forums
Our regular forums are an excellent opportunity for CPIC to share information with the sector and for providers to discuss the issues that they are facing. Our forums are for all care providers in Cornwall, not just our members. All Providers, Registered Managers, and Senior staff from Residential and Nursing Homes are welcome.
Typically, we hold one Forum for each of the Council's social care contracts; Residential and Nursing Homes, Home Care (Domiciliary Care) and Housing & Support Solutions (formerly Supportive Lifestyles, but now including housing providers).
Occasionally we will welcome guest speakers at our Forums by invitation only, so that our Forums can be a safe space for confidential discussions.
We also hold regular in-person Registered Manager Network meetings. These are supported by Skills for Care and Proud to Care and are a great opportunity for Registered Managers of any type of social care service and recent guest speakers have included local Council and NHS commissioners, CQC, Safeguarding, and Healthwatch Cornwall.
Full details of our Forums and our Registered Managers Network meetings are circulated via our Mailing List.
